Just started working on a new street campaign, I'm not giving away any details

MAY 08
Selfridges Show
All the work in the Dreweatts Urban Art Sale is being show in the Ultra Lounge
at Selfridges. People are questioning whether it's 'right' to show urban art
in a department store, I think, who cares, if it gets people looking at it
who wouldn't normally go to a gallery - great, just don't buy any over priced
crap whilst you're there!

Not A Penny Off The Pay
The show launched on May 1st to massive queues and a feeding frenzy to buy
the art, quite disgusting to see and very bizare for Bristol but the standard
of work by everyone was really, really high, the venue looked great and we're
all proud as punch about it.

Very busy boy
It's so much work putting on shows, especially when you're sourcing an old
unused venue, I've only had time to do one new print for my own show! It's
a study really for a bigger piece I've been wanting to do for a while featuring
one of the seven dwarves and the slogan ' Hi Ho, Hi Ho, It's Not To Work We
Go' - very Situationist!

Busy boy
Not much news this month as massivly busy in the run up to Steal from Work's
next show, Not A Penny Of The Pay, No A Second On The Day. It's a group show
with 30 international urban artists and based on International Workers day.
Opens May 1st in an unused former Motorcycle workshop, Stokes Croft, Bristol.
Check the Steal From Work website for full details:

Gone Are The Dreams
I've finished my piece for the Dreweatts Urban Art Sale, it's a meter square
canvas, the first painting I've done in a while! I've been into halftone patterns
for a while but wanted to do something more abstract with them.

Graffle 2
I've joined up with Dom to help him do another Graffle, this time national
rather than just Bristol based with shows in London & Bristol planned
for the summer. The aim is for it to be bigger and better than the first (which
was great) hopefully with 50 artists all donating new and original work.
