NO MORE HEROES

A series of single screen video installations.

At first the erratic editing seems amateur and meaningless, then we realise that in each edit the hero has simply been removed. This process perversely highlights the hero, prompting the viewer to questioning the validity of a hero archetype in society.

The process also results in a conscious dislocation from the films narrative, which highlights the counterfeit reality of the media (in this case film) quite clearly exposing the spectacle.
